The UNAIDS Reference Group Fall Meeting 2016 was held in Manhattan, New York. The purpose of this meeting was to provide technical recommendations for updates to Spectrum 2016 which is used by countries to generate estimates of HIV as part of the UNAIDS Global Estimates, and discuss other key areas relevant to the group.

The meeting included the following topics:

  • EPP and Spectrum Software Updates
  • Mortality and Age-structure Developments
  • Modelling HIV Incidence
  • Spatially-specific Estimates of HIV
  • Incorporating New Data Sources and Updates from our Partners
