WHO, UNAIDS and the UNAIDS Reference Group on Estimates, Modelling and Projections held a consultation to review and discuss estimates of child infections and need for ART, which took place in Montreux, Switzerland on 11th October 2019. The overall meeting aim was to:
- Improve the ability for countries to estimate and project the number of children and adolescents living with HIV
The meeting sessions were:
- Estimating births to HIV+ women
- Transmission rates and breastfeeding
- Estimation of the paediatric treatment cascade
